Disclaimer

  • This is not medical advice. Nothing on this site is a diagnosis, a prescription, or a recommendation for your eyes specifically. Lash serums are applied millimetres from the cornea. Before you start one, speak to an eye care professional — particularly if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, wear contact lenses, or are being treated for glaucoma or raised eye pressure.
  • What a label check can and cannot tell you. I read the ingredient list a brand publishes and record what it says on the date I read it. That tells you what is in the bottle. It does not tell you whether the product will work for you, how it compares to another product in a controlled trial, or whether an ingredient is safe at the concentration used.
  • No testing is carried out here. There is no clinical trial, no testing panel, and no medical reviewer behind this site. Scores come from a published rubric applied to published information. Anywhere a study is cited, it belongs to the brand or to a regulator, not to me.
  • Formulas and prices change without notice. Every product mention carries the date it was checked. A brand can reformulate or reprice at any time, and by the time you read a page the label may have changed. Always check the current package before you buy.
  • Regulatory positions are reported, not interpreted. Where the FDA, Health Canada or the EU’s scientific committee has stated something, I state what they said and link the source. A scientific opinion is not the same as a ban, and I try to be precise about which is which.
  • Affiliate links. Some links earn a commission if you buy through them. This does not change what a label says, and every check on this site can be repeated by anyone.
  • Errors. If something here is wrong, tell me and I’ll correct it within 48 hours.
